すべてPMTCと呼ぶ風潮がありますが

これはあまり十分な解釈とは言えません

PMTCの概念を提唱したスウェーデンの

アクセルソン博士の著書には

以下の3つの事柄で定義づけられています

2. Cleaning must be focusing on tooth surface at gingival margin and hidden 1-3mm area with gingival tissue using mechanically driven tool

3. プラーク検出液とフッ化物含有の

清掃ペーストを用いる

3. Dental plaque detection dye and cleaning paste which contain fluoride compounds

must be use

重要なのはPMTCを定期的に行って

虫歯と歯周病の予防処置をはかることです

わが国でもこの手法は注目されていますが

最近はPMTCという言葉が

患者さん集めの売り言葉として

使われているように思えてなりません

悪いことを宣伝している訳ではありせんが

継続的に続けるという概念が重要です

Although this methodology is current topic in our country's dental providers, dental providers use it as an one of marketing keyword

It is never wrong marketing but frequently observed like below
